Accounting

The Accounting Division performs the following functions:
- prepares and administers the City’s annual budget;
- works with the external auditors in preparing the annual financial report;
- provides centralized accounting;
- maintains fixed asset records;
- collects various license and permit fees and other monies due the city;
- manages accounts receivable and accounts payable.
This division is the depository site for the General Fund, the Ruston-Lincoln Parish Ambulance Service, and other City departments.
