Accounting

The Accounting Division performs the following functions:

  • prepares and administers the City’s annual budget;
  • works with the external auditors in preparing the annual financial report;
  • provides centralized accounting;
  • maintains fixed asset records;
  • collects various license and permit fees and other monies due the city;
  • manages accounts receivable and accounts payable.

This division is the depository site for the General Fund, the Ruston-Lincoln Parish Ambulance Service, and other City departments.
