An echo of the past, historic buildings give depth to the streets of Ruston. The old post office, the first bank of Ruston, and several homes built within the first few years of Ruston’s establishment are among the number of historic buildings in the city. After renovations and restorations, many of these buildings are still in use today, preserving the legacy of this charming town. With more than 20 local spots on the National Register of Historic Places, history is no stranger to the city of Ruston.
