FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
E. RAILROAD AVENUE - TRAFFIC CLOSURE
The City of Ruston announces, weather permitting, E. Railroad Avenue, at its intersection
with S. Bonner Street, will be closed to through traffic, beginning at 7:00am, Wednesday,
June 18, 2025, and shall remain closed for approximately 90 days. This closure is
associated with State Project H.013720, titled, Bonner Street Bridge Pedestrian
Improvements(Ruston) and is necessary for improving the sidewalks as well as the
installation of underground electrical.
The City of Ruston regrets any inconvenience this necessary work may cause residents and
motorists. We appreciate your patience, and any questions can be received by the Public
