The mission statement of the City of Ruston Section 8 Housing Program is to provide safe, decent and sanitary housing conditions for low, very low-income, and extremely low-income families as well as to manage resources efficiently. The Public Housing Agency (PHA) is to promote personal, economic, and social upward mobility to provide families the opportunity to make the transition from subsidized to non-subsidized housing.

The goal of the Section 8 Housing Office during this continued pandemic of COVID-19 is to continue to use precautionary measures in hope of preventing the spread of the virus.
*The Section 8 Housing Office will operate on Appointment(s) Only
*All Visitors must have a valid Driver’s License or State ID
*All Visitors are required to wear face mask/covering
*All Visitors will be subject to temperature check
*All Visitors must be least 6 feet or more apart from Housing Rep.
