The Permits and Inspections Office regulates construction within the City of Ruston. The primary purpose of inspections is to help ensure the safety of residents, businesses, and visitors. All construction projects within the City of Ruston must comply with the standards established by the Louisiana State Uniform Construction Code Council and, when applicable, the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors.
