The City of Ruston is continuing progress on the East Kentucky Avenue corridor improvement project, a multi-phase infrastructure initiative designed to enhance safety, traffic flow, and connectivity. When complete, the corridor will be transformed into a
- three-lane roadway with two travel lanes and a center turn lane
- new sidewalks,
- bike lanes,
- upgraded drainage systems
- improved utilities.
This project is part of the City’s long-term “Moving Ruston Forward” initiative and addresses increased traffic demands driven by residential, commercial, and student growth in the area.
