Facilities are reserved from 8:00am to 12 midnight on booking date, regardless of event time or length. Half of rental fee is due at time of booking to reserve the facility.
All events must be cleaned up the night of the event.
All events must end by 12 midnight.
Tables and chairs are provided for the Civic Center and Historic Fire Station, including set-up and clean-up.
Kitchen access available for the Civic Center and Historic Fire Station.

The Ruston Civic Center is a newly renovated multifunction facility perfect for trade shows, banquets, weddings, receptions and cultural events. We can accommodate a variety of event configurations with a large conference hall that can be divided into two separate halls. The Peach Suite is available as a meeting room for breakout sessions or small seminars. The large kitchen, with direct access to the loading bay, is convenient for outside caterers. The concession area, strategically located in the large entrance room, is also available for rental. Our experienced staff is available to help plan event set-up.

The Historic Fire Station located at 200 E. Mississippi in downtown Ruston is available for rent. Recently refurbished, it was opened to the public in October of 2008. It boasts a full caterer’s kitchen, original fire poles and beautifully landscaped garden area with pergola and fountain. The building will hold 80 to 120 people making it the perfect venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners, parties, or business meetings.
Railroad Park located on Park Avenue in Downtown Ruston has a stage and amphitheater seating that is available for rent.
Birthday Party rental - Saturdays only 9A.M. - 4P.M. - Ages 4-9
Includes: Fire house and fire truck tour and fire safety lessons from a fireman.
- 3 or more consecutive days rental: 25% off total
To Confirm a Venue:
- 50% of rental is due on date the contract is signed.
- Full rental amount is due no less than 40 days prior to event.
- If booked less than 40 days prior to event rental amount is due in full when contract is signed.
Scheduling Deposit Refund Policy:
- Full deposit if cancellation is made 90 days-plus in advance of event.
- 50% of refund if cancellation is made 60 - 89 days in advance.
- Deposit is forfeited if cancellation is made less than 60 days in advance.
*Security is required at all rentals when alcohol is present. Historic Fire Station requires 1 Officer. Civic Center requires 1 Officer per 100 people. The Security fee is $35/hour per officer.
